Can I get NO Medical Life Insurance without a Medical Check?
The short answer is yes; although this will depend entirely on your individual circumstances.
If the answers you provide in your initial questionnaire suggest that you are young and healthy i.e. a non-smoker, occasional drinker with a healthy weight,
then it is unlikely that you will need to be sent for a medical examination and a doctor’s report. No medical life insurance will then apply to you.
However, if you are older or have been a heavy smoker for most of your life, then you are more likely to be asked to go for medical checks.
Although you may not want to undergo a medical examination, it is important that you are as honest as you can be when answering the questions. Not being
honest can have an impact on your policy in the future. For example, if you say that you don’t smoke, and it comes to light later down the line that
you have been a heavy smoker for some time, then your policy could be invalidated.
